I used to be a polling officer when I was a teacher. EC does not provide chairs & tables; the people in area do. NPP is just trying to find fault where there is none. SHAME!!!

These days it is safe for a politician to steal from state coffers so far as he/she is a 'good' criminal who has the skills of manipulating foolish tribesmen and party followers to vote without thinking for him/her to avoid prosecution. They make reference to other tribesmen who were also kleptomaniacs who were caught and jailed to play on the emotions of their weak minded followers. But those thieves should also remember that not all Ghanaians are foolish, and we know that Sipa, Kwame Peprah and Mallam Issah were not their tribesmen. Juloi!

Since 1992,I had always worked with the EC as either a Polling Assistant,a Registration Officer or a Presiding Officer.
Through out this period, it has never been the responsibility of the EC or Assembly members to provide furniture for any election related exercises.
It's even often stated somewhere in the Registration Officer's manual among other things that:-
The EC will provide all materials for the exercise, except the following:-
1.Tables
2.Chairs
3.Clock
That it's the responsibility of the P O or the R O,whichever is applicable here, to visit his or her Centre to organize these. It's this officer who should contact the Assembly person for assistance.

I must say that the residents are also fools for looking on without assisting to provide common tables or benches. THEY SHOULD EVEN LIE DOWN ON THE GROUND TO TAKE THE FOTOS. AFTER ALL NORTHERNERS ARE NOTED FOR GROUNDS WORK.
