The Traditional Council should please intervene and resolve this issue as soon as possible. The last time that I checked the membership of the council I saw Dr. Nadilla as the president with Otumfour OseiTutu 11 and other prominent chiefs as members. I believe the action of the Queen mother of Attebubu is unlawful and cannot be allowed to stand in a civilised country like Ghana. The queen mother should be told that any law (including Traditional Laws) inconsistent with the provisions of our 1992 Constitution is null and void and cannot stand.The queen mother should also be aware that if the MP Sanja Nanja who knows the law decides to disregard this unlawful banning order and starts campaigning and some residents at Attebubu cause any harm to him, the queen mother shall be held responsible for any lawlessness and the law will catch up with her. The Queen mother should note that the law is no respecter of persons. She could be sent to prison and her supporters will not follow her there.

The ban is wrong,it is unlawful,it can compel the MP to go to court which is not in the interest of all the parties.what he said was wrong,he opened his mouth too wide and was not civil in his comments, a member of parliament cannot talk loosely like that in public.
In the interest of the area and the people, they should all sit down to smoke the peace pipe,he losing the election is not in the interest of the people and not involving in social activities will rather hurt the area.
