Another major issue that I want to bring to the attention of the people is that; if we look at the flagstaff house today, it does not reflect the people of Ghana in terms of religion. “We are in this country living peacefully and nicely; Christians and Muslims. So we believe in the NPP that Christians and Muslims should work together and that is why whenever we pick a flagbearer as a Christian, we pick a Muslim as a vice. And when we come and pick a Muslim as a flagbearer, we will pick a Christian as a vice. "So if, Insha Allah, Nana Akufo-Addo becomes president, he will swear with the Bible and enter the Flagstaff and I will swear with the Quran and enter the flagstaff House,” he noted. Currently, Ghana’s President John Mahama and his vice, Kwesi Amissah-Arthur are both Christians.

The TUC looked the other way, when the flagship Bank, the Merchant Bank, was strangely bundled and sold to a group of Ndc businessmen. Merchant Bank in its truest state, contributed, close to ninety per cent of incomes that go to pay monthly workers pensions. Even, the workers third tier contributions, which ought to be managed by companies of the workers themselves, have been cornered by convoluted laws to give them away to entities aligned to Ndc operatives. The leadership of the TUC have been very disappointing. They have allowed these ills to go unchecked. Now they seem to have been engaged to preach peace before the national elections. It is certain, the TUC leadership know the flawed Voters Register is a recipe for chaos. They choose not to whisper about this because it will not be pleasing to the ears of the President and Madam EC chairperson. The TUC , should stop wasting our ears with their hypocritical peace message refrain. The must fight for the rights of workers of Ghana, who are facing real hard times.
