That is very shameful of a man of his academic stature. Of all the arguments available for his use, and of all the logical countenances that could be applied, an intellectually lethargic Bawumia gravitated to a very elementary argument to support his pre-historic political calculations.

Bawumia is a quintessential example of the differences between academic pedigree and common wisdom: he might be equipped with the former, but woefully inadequate with the latter.
