Neither of the 2 main political parties are outlining any serious policy ideas on how they plan to deal with the multiple economic & social problems facing Ghana. As for Allotey Jacobs threat to beat NPP Supporters he appears to me to lack the strength to even beat an egg. One thing is sure about the November Elections and that NDC or NPP will be victorious. However, Ghana will be the loser as neither of these parties has solutions or ideas to tackle many of the economic problems that they themselves have created. God help Ghana.

I checked the 20-something responses preceding mine, and not even one person could see the need to call for any reprimand of those who beat the NDC Official up. Could it be because every single person that responded ahead of me was a bona fide member or sympathizer of NPP? Even so, does it make it right? Come on folks, everyone's life matters. We should not drift into the gutter of relegating our opponent's lives into sub-humanity or even extinction. That does not make us any more human, or civilized. And it is morally inappropriate. I am not here to impose my morals on anyone. But just as many responding have rightly denounced the Allotey Jacobs' cry for vengeance, we must denounce the beating of Dr. Ahadzi.

I am not NDC member. But I see such irresponsible spontaneous reaction of condemning Allotey but not the culprits who unleashed the violence triggering his response as wrong as Jacobs' own. We cannot be so blatantly biased when it comes to allowing violence to mar our political landscape.

Our Law Enforcement Agencies must stand firm and fair in restraining Jacobs from effecting his insidious vengeance. And with the same enthusiasm, the perpetrators of that vile and vicious savagery on Dr. Ahadzi must be pursued and brought to books according to the Laws of the Land. That is the only way we could ensure Law and Order in our Country and keep the torch of Democracy alive.

We must not be hypocritical about this. Honesty and mutual respect for each other's life is crucial in maintaining any high level of Civilization in our Society.

We should let the Laws take their course.
