I never thought I would ever agree with Dr Arthur K. on any issue---being politics, social issues or activism! I was dead wrong! After reading his take on the socalled Dr (Bawumia's) speech about religious inequality in Ghanaian Politics I have realized my thoughts about him had been a bit of an over-shot!
Arthur has nailed it! I must say that, I know both of these gentlemen! I knew Arthur since the time of "Aluta" against Rawlings! I developed some hatred towards him because, I saw him as a dude who was Missing In Action (MIA) at a time when we needed him the most! Then came my criss-cross with him in Toronto and my knowledge of his sojourns over there just to cohabitate with vulnerable ladies!
This piece right here has driven me to the fact that maybe, I have to take a second look at this guy!
I also met Bawumia three times in Vancouver, B.C., when he was loitering around there ---pretending to be pursue his PHD at Simon Fraser University--which turned out to be a Permanent Head Damage for him! I do remember a lady enquiring as to whether he has pursuing a course in Islamic Law! I told her if that was the case, he would have been in the University of Baghdad!
When I heard of Bawumia, being the running mate of another violent and mischievous individual (Akufo) in our country's history I was disheartened! Why? Because I knew a mixture of these clandestine individuals would spell doom for our country if, and I repeat, if (May God forbid), they are given the mandate---to engineer our Country's destiny!
The reason why the lady wanted to know his accreditation was that, he seemed more interested in his Koran than any other thing on earth! Sometimes, he forget himself and even take notes from right to left! It's not surprising therefore, that he has started waging Jihad when he hasn't even won the election yet!

I am a tall young bared headed man. I have lost the chance of getting a grey hair through a thick cumulous wee smoke I entered during one of my nocturnal visit to a wee smoking old man whom I share a common dream with.

The wee smoke nearly marred our vision; thank God we were able to get good medical practitioner to provide us with thick lens spectacle equivalent to the bottom of Coca Cola bottle.

I have strong common characteristics with this old man and some uncommon ones too. Consider the following:

We have both lost our fathers ( Mine died peacefully whilst the old man’s father died a criminal.

Our fathers were Politician’s Mine is a honest man in a very prestigious political party whilst the old man’s father was a thief and a traitor in an extremist party.

We all studied economics in school - I hold a doctorate degree in economics whilst the old man has 3rd grade bachelor’s degree.

I have certificates and work experience but the old man has nothing to prove his academic qualification apart from being a minister of state.

The dreams of our fathers are very similar that we shall one day become head of state of Ghana.

I have good experience in money laundering which is clearly manifested during the redenomination exercise of the country currency something in common with the old man’s father. This motivated the old wee smoker to offered me a hand shake to be partners in crime to fight a course of ruling the people at all cost..

The Ganja old man is skilful in narcotics whilst I am skilful in manipulating balance sheets . After much deliberations which I will tell you later; we agreed to run on a ticket of a certain Acid party to loot big time. Since we have all dissipated the resources bequeathed to us by our parents.

I have tried my best by lying much as per the advice of the Ganja old man, I have been to the Mecca to throw a stone at the devil to pave the way for me, However during my stone throwing the devil threw a bigger stone which I had to ran away to save my dear life. The devils stone killed many. I then reviewed my strategy to visit every local mosque. Little did I know that this act of sacrilege is the doom of our dreams. I am afraid of my Moslem brothers to enter the Christian church too as they have large followers . First of all Arthur K did not condemn Dzifa Attivor's ethnocentric and tribalistic comments, which was Voltarians are hated by the NPP and the NPP jail and kill leading members of the NDC who are Voltarians, and so to prevent her from going to jail, Voltarians should vote en masse for John Mahama, Fifi Kwetey and by so doing, they ie Voltarians would prevent the NPP from jailing her and Fifi Kwetey. And they should register, ask their family members from Togo to come and register to vote to prevent Fifi and her, from going to jail to safeguard their dignity and protect their common identity. Ironically, Dzifa Attivor did not tell Voltarians why she thought she would go to jail, the basis of which, she said all Voltarians including Togolese, even if they qualify or not, should register to vote for John Mahama, herself and Fifi.
Dr. Bawumia on the other hand touted the religious harmony existing between the major religions of this country and how it needed to be entrenched further, even at the level of the Presidency, which was actually the case in the NPP as a convention.
How can Dr. Bawumia be dividing us, when on this very matter of religious inclusion, some elements in the NDC and I stand to be corrected, Fifi Fiavi Kwetey, the very individual who was mentioned in pushing the ethnocentrism of politics, by the NDC as stated by Dzifa Attivor, is on record to have said, in spite of the religious harmony existing between Ghanaians and especially between Christians and Muslims, no Muslim should be President of Ghana, which is completely and totally outlawed by our Constitution, with regards to discrimination on the basis of religion, a hot button issue, that has created upheavals in various parts of the world.
The question therefore is why is it that those who seem to be pushing ethnocentrism and tribalism in our politics, are also the very same persons who seem to be inclined to be religiously discriminatory? Why are they so full of hate?
I think these are issues that must be addressed and useful lessons drawn, as we seek to perfect our democracy. Ethnocentrism and tribalism and discrimination on the basis of religion cannot be a part of our democratic culture if we are to build a cohesive society of mutually shared goals and interests for the holistic development of this country.
Contrary to the pedestrian view as alluded to by the likes of Arthur K, and a very clear departure from the offensive ethnocentric comments of Dzifa Attivor, Dr. Bawumia should be applauded for his note of caution about the seeming lack of inclusivity in the NDC party and govt and discrimination on the basis of religion, a strongly held view by some elements in the NDC party and gov't. Dr. Bawumia is saying we must live the ethos of our Constitution.

Is Bawumia aware that Ghana has more than one religion? In any case, there is only one dominant religion in Ghana that is Christianity accounting for 71.3 and Muslims being 17.6 and the remaining being other religions,www.statsghana.gov.gh/.../Census2010_Summary_report_of_final_resul. So how on earth could anybody preach equality in terms political appointments and representations? The ratio between Christians and Muslims is 4:1. What this means is that 4 Christians has proportional chance of being appointed before one Muslim is chosen, and Bawumiah should know this, which I know he does. So why the hypocrisy and the un-academic argument?
