  We knew Mahama will do wonders for Ghana. Even in his first term see how his educational policies have catapulted Legon to 7th in the Africa! And I have no doubt that buy the end of his second term in 2020, Legon will be the 10th best in the World and 1st in Africa.

  This is definitely a much better ranking than previous years. However, it is still outside the top 500 universities in the world. We should stop comparing ourselves with universities in west Africa.. why can't we strive to be at least among the top 100 in the world. Cape Town Univ - Africa's best - is still ranked outside the top 100 in the world (120 to be specific). Not good enough Africa - wake up! We can do it!!
