I for one never liked the way we have neglected to nurture our African leagues in favor of European ones. We complained that we do have jobs for our beloved ppl but had forgotten that we can create a trillion dollar business on Afro football alone with satellite TV stations, modern stadiums, retail stores to sell Afro sport wares and memorabilia. All these can crate jobs across the continent for millions of people. West Africa alone has a population more than the US so what is the excuse for?
GFA, Kotoko and Hearts would rather want to sell their top players to some stupid Manchester United for pennies and because of that, all Africans move in a drove to watch Manchester United playing because of couple of Ghanaians or Senegalese are featured playing and enslaving themselves to make Europe rich while Ghana and Africa remained poor.
I hope this turn around should be the beginning to use sports as a vehicle to create jobs.
African football/soccer is the new magic that if well established with TV rights, the money that aspect of it could generate for those who are addicted to it in the Americas and across Asia would be enough to project us higher.
You see, our problem is WE DO NOT BELIEVE IN OURSELVES AS OTHERS IN ASIA HAD BELIEVED IN US. Those who did not colonized and enslaved us before see us as great people and believed in our ability to be great again but we rather turned to weak Europeans who see us as their MEAL - breakfast and lunch - for validation, and the responds from them is always "you're NOT ready yet, let me do it for you". And that means 'am here to rob you for my sustenance.

Are you really in Singapore? The time given for the match was 1500hrs LT which is 2300hrs Singapore time so you waking up 4hrs later means you'll get nothing to watch. So who are you insulting now?

The conditions of all the stadiums must be upgraded - green and demarcated playing fields, clean restrooms, first-aid centres, and electronic boards for businesses to advertise their made in Ghana products. Good job GPL.
