  It was an egregious lie and a very dangerous one at that, which John Dramani Mahama spewed in his last ever SOTN address before leaving office in November, under the impression he would be allowed to go unchallenged in that obvious and fantastic, great lie not just uttered as in jest, but captured in a document and at a forum as important as the SOTN address to Parliament, an occasion that saw about 85-95% of the world audience culled in, as well as Ghanaians.
  He lied because John Dramani Mahama was thinking he could get away with it, until he was embarrassed potoorrrrrrr.
  This is the sort of President Ghana has, and feels he deserves to lead this country. Ghanaians, however have other ideas as he has been made keenly and acutely aware, that there is no way he can lead this country and should by now be done with his hand-over notes as he goes around the country on his goodbye tour.
  It would be recalled it is because of this same lying spree and conduct, that has seen him visiting the Volta region on about 5 occasions in the past few weeks, after he lied so pathetically in the SOTN address about some projects in the Volta region, which again turned out to be reckless lies, but was under the impression and assumption, the political world bank of the NDC gov't would jump to his defense in his lying spree, until they said checkmate, it is over. You are going home....
  The John Dramani Mahama NDC gov't is now synonymous with lies and thievery and it seems there is a direct correlation to the extent that, as the lies inches up the lyin meter, the pointer on the thievery meter goes off the charts, and Ghana's collapse is a direct consequence of these characteristics of the John Mahama NDC gov't.
  The verdict is all too clear, he cannot lead this country and he is leaving office speedily in November.

  In all sincerity that hospital maybe completed within the shortest time but risk remaining as a white elephant serving no purpose or little of it.This argument is a vital statement of fact because the upper west region and the regional hospital is suffering a crisis situation with chronic shortage of health personnel particularly doctors.The hospital maybe an ultra modern edifice with modern equipment but you need the human resource personnel to ensure provision of adequate health services to ensure a healthy population and productivity.The myriad of preventable morbidities and mortalities cannot be solved by monkeys or other primates in a modern regional hospital other than humans trained as professionals.The upper west region still have a high maternal and child mortality indices because trained personnel in Reproductive and Child Health are inadequate in quantity and quality.Preventable and common ailments such as malnutrition,snake bites ,malaria and other infectious diseases are killing multitudes.Ironically,the upper west region have one of the largest pool of medical practitioners if not the largest.Most of them shy away from helping their own people because of the culture of vindictiveness,sabotage and destruction.Malice and diabolism at fever pitch make native medical professionals literally scared in availing themselves to the health needs of their own people.Natives are more than demotivated to work in the region because of retrogressive and unproductive activities of their own people.Unfortunately highly placed people who are supposed to use their influence and affluence to champion the health needs of the region to ensure productivity and sustainable development are involved in these destructive and retrogressive tendencies.Alban Bagbin,the majority leader have victimized and persecuted not less than 5 doctors in the region in needless show of political power with some mysteriously dyeing in the process. The latest victim of the Majority Leader's brute callousness and vindictiveness is a doctor from Sissala East in the upper west region he connived to orchestrate his dismissal from the GHS as then Health Minister in 2012.The young practitioner is unemployed for 4 years now having being dismissed through an indefinite suspension with his letters copied to Alban Bagbin in typical show of political power in personal vendetta.Whiles others use their influence to develop the human resource base of important and strategic professionals like doctors,this is what the upper west politician do signifying the morbid jealousy,greed,self centredness and general diabolism in the area that make native health professionals reluctant to avail themselves to the health needs of their people.
