If I were this greedy and vinidictive woman, I would just vanish from the political horizon, and go and enjoy my ill-gotten wealth. Nana Konadu is not relevant in Ghanaian politics anymore. She has totally lost her stranglehold on Ghanaian women, with the departure of her husband from the Presidency. In those times, the women were coerced into belonging to the 31st December Women's Movement. They either joined or lost their various places in the markets. That power is gone, but Mrs Rawlings deludes herself into believing that the Ghanaian women are still behind her. They have realized that she only used them in achieving her own greedy agenda.

Her theory says that, going to the IMF is the result of the economy collapsing which is also the result of the government stealing all the money in the economy for which therefore the President must be impeached. I don't think Konadu has forgotten that, her husband Rawlings' government, the PNDC/NDC1 was the first government that went to the IMF for an economic programme, the Structural Adjustment Programme which even had various phases, 1, 2, and 3. By Konadu's theory, she and her husbsnd had stolen all the money then hence her husband Rawlings should have been impeached.
Clearly, Konadu and her husband are a bitter couple. They have no contentment in life even though once upon a time, they had ruled this great country for 19 good years. They just cannot believe that they are out of power and the country has been running ever since and it will be running without them for the rest of their lives and beyond.
