The maintenance could be contracted to a good contractor to carry it out. The sports council will destroy everything in 6 months if handed over to them.See the other stadia recently built,acca,kumasi second ,tamale etc.

Growth? Are you serious? Some of you obviously don't understand the drivers of economic growth. If just building infrastructure would have led to better growth, then our economic growth would not have dropped to 3%

It adds to the construction sector of GDP. Construction provides direct jobs for many and indirect jobs for many more. Construction workers must eat, wear clothes, have somewhere to live and take transport to work.

The fall in GDP growth arises more from the oil and gas industry and mining than construction.

Looking at those present at the ceremony, I see no balance. When I pointed this out to aplanke Bawumia, he agreed with my observation, saying, "There are no Muslims in that photo". I then asked aplanke Bawumia why he thinks there should be a balance between Muslims and Christians in government without any mention of the millions of Ghanaians who are neither Christians nor Muslims. Aplanke Bawumia simply retorted that he was just saying what he had been instructed to say to the public, and therefore could not get into deeper questions. When asked who instructed him to spit out his religion balance, aplanke Bawumia appeared visibly upset and retorted, "Go and ask my boss Akufo-Addo, he drives the car".

It then became obvious that clueless Bawumia has no idea that Ghana is not just a land of Christians and Muslims, but the truth usually is upsetting to serial liars like aplanke Bawumia.
