Opening their mouth to defend the indefensible makes us lose respect for them and tells us that there's no difference between them and the ndc.

Chairman Wontumi is a direct threat to Mahama and his NDC government because of his vivacious approach in this campaign which does not bode too well with them. I could be wrong but, I believe the big man has a say in this and will deny it just as they've denied being corrupt.

In many cases they have been used to settle personal scores. In other cases they have used lethal force to settle civil disputes often at the behest of powerful people. And that even in cases where their action is clearly unjust, criminal behaviour by them is not investigated or punished.

I hope that a new government breaks the strangle-hold on the country of the use of violence ensuing from the AFRC/PNDC days. When citizens can count on the police and the judiciary to right wrongs impartially we may finally stop the use of violence against each other. Governments must pursue socio-economic and legal rights of citizens aggressively. It means the likes of Wontumi are prosecuted when such incidents occur. I don't see the problem as an NDC/NPP issue, it is more a symptom of a sick society.

I think these nonsenses MUST stop in our country. NPP, NDC, CPP, ACP, or PPP including other political party activists are NOT above the laws of Ghana. Therefore, if chairman Wontumi assaulted someone and has been arrested pertaining to that offence, why should NPP cry foul? The law enforcement agencies must stand up and do their work without any intimidation from any quarter.

If a whole member of my ass parliament can brush aside the rule of law in favour of tribalism then where is the future of our country called Ghana ?
It is quite obvious most of these so called MPs grew up in stinky dried fish and rotten roasted cassava eviroment and as a result had effect on the positive side of their brains which is hampering their thinking ability. Even the lower animals can think better than them. Some of their utterances are really outrageous and it is all done in solidarity with fellow tribesmen. Even if a sheep is knocked down by a car on the street and the owner of the sheep is an Akan tribesman then Mahama should be held responsible because he is a northerner.
Wow !! is this really Osagyefo Dr Kwame Nkrumah 's Ghana ? I am sick and tired of this animalistic behaviour of these so called politicians who do not even understand what the rule of law stand for. Ghana belongs to Ghanaians but not a particular tribe and therefore we are leaving no stone unturned to deal with any rude behaviour irrespective of one's tribe or religion. I am very thankful for the good work done by the Ghana Police for caging that ape who took the law into his own hands to assault his fellow party men. BRAVO MR IGP & YOUR MEN & WOMEN .
