You have got it all wrong, Mr Leader. Every loyal Patriot would side with Ken's comment, and in extension, to Chairman Wontumi's action.
We are all members of the NPP. Some people are enjoying prestige in Parliament on the ticket of the NPP. We all support you because you have been elected to represent us. Nana Addo was elected by over 90% of our membership to represent us. So why would any sensible elected member of the party openly and/or clandestinely work against another elected representative of the same party and expect everyone else to look on unconcerned?
It should have been the duty of Mr Leader to bring these recalcitrant members to order, but we have never heard a whim from him. Now when someone has been bold enough to speak on behalf of the majority of the members of the party, you use your position as Mr Leader to criticize his audacity!
Ken Agyapong is right. Wontumi should not only have slapped this foolish guy: He should have whipped him! The Mp has no obligation to continue being a member of the party if he is not happy with the choice of leader. He can get out and join any party of his own choice. Or he should stand behind the elected leader and help him lead the rest of us. Anything less than that will be resisted by slaps and canes! Some have died for standing up for the right of the people!
