The most annoying thing is that, often. these boys would not even marry the girls they impregnate at this tender age. Rather their baby and the girl would become the headache of the girl's parents, when they can hardly wait for the day they would breathe a sigh of relief for being done in raising their daughter, who should be on her way to college or whatever career path they choose.

The headmaster should not have beaten the boy alone, but also his daughter. It takes two to tango, and that girl, it appears to me in the story, was not raped. She was a willful participant in the whole thing. Yes, you might say she was naïve or lied to, but then she should have walked away and report to her mother at least. If she wasn't raped, then she is equally blamable.

The scumbag, the boy, will in all probability go on with his education. Perhaps, go on to university and come to consider this girl as undesirable or beneath his new status. The "pickinaboro" will be foisted on another man down the road who will have the headache of raising Cain. Small kids should not play with matches sticks. Sex is an adult thing. Don't engage in it unless you are ready to bear what comes of it.

Now , Mr headmaster, ou know very well that matters of this kind belong to the law, why take the law into your hands? while I fault Anokye for misbehaving, I also blame the Headmaster for beating him to coma. Anyway, it will serve as deterrent to the other students who indulge in such acts at the expense of learning.

I believe the Head could have dealt with the student through what has been stipulated by law. However, let us not forget that it wasn't rape. The head should be dealt with because he has broken the law. And let's pray for the boy. Moreover, is a lesson to all of us ; to stop , think and pray before we act on issues that bring us pain.

If anyone has committed a crime, it is the headmaster. He should be prosecuted which would probably require his dismissal. You can't take the law into your hands. He better pray that the boy does not die or he will be charged with manslaughter, even though I can understand his anger. There are many ladies who got pregnant in secondary school who never get married till they die. This is just the reality of these things, especially in this part of the world. As a girl, your life is changed forever. It may take more than beauty and money to solve this challenge.

Having condemned the the headmaster for his barbaric attack, I despise early pregnancy but then this are some of the realities in life we most often face . Sex education in schools should be recommended to avert such situations. Strict parents are more likely to raise kids of that nature.
