The govt owes the contractot huge sums of money for work done and a whole president is playing PROPAGANDA with the project. This is simply b'cos he thinks the people will not see through his propaganda. Six months to election before the pres. is instructing the assembly to fire the contractor? He fired Legna who was doing the Ashaiman roads and have the project to his brother's company two years ago and the project is still hanging ad he giving him huge mobilization. The govt was owing Magna huge sums of money for work done and yet the president ordered that the project be reawarded to his brother.

A prudent manager knows how to use the little resources at his disposal to create wealth. A poor manager will waste and go borrowing unwisely just to cover his unwise deeds. I belief it would have been more effective if the Road minister and his civil service engineers and supervisors in charge of the project be held accountable. They should have written progress report and copied to the president, when they new he was going there, or the president new about that already. President must not hold brief for lazy civil servant and minister, and go all the way to do their dirty jobs for them. This makes the President a week leader, I belief he doesn't want to hurt or embarrass any body.He is a very good man, considerate, empathise and would like to listen to people and be able to solve their problems . Unfortunately effective leadership is about delegating and supervising people to perform per agreed terms of appointment. GOOD person hardly are good leaders. To you the selfish once don't take the Presidents leniency as a weak and an advantage to exploit him. Minister and Civil servants must be fired for not living up to the tax given. Redeploying people for gross misconduct is not the best. President must be bold enough to equate
