AUTHOR: YAW-----When one hears the likes of Anyidoho,Kofi Adams,Asiedu Nkatiah,Ofosu Kwakye, Twum Boafo ,Bokor and the rest of these NDC small minds saying Nana Addo or for that matter NPP has no message, you wonder whether they understand or know what they're talking about or like Dr.Bawumia rightly pointed out, they don't read. How many of NPP'S policies and plans have they tried to steal only to fumble and made mess with due to their lack of knowhow. Why does this Anyidoho keep embarrassing himself with baseless utterances? Politics is a dirty game they say but for anybody to state that Nana Akufo Addo Danquah or NPP has no message is laughable and stupidity to the highest degree.

Say and say it again. The certified copy of the judgement is available on the EC's website. The SC never asked for the removal of people that registered with NHIS. Why are we doing this to ourselves as a people.

NHIS is not only for Ghanaians. It is an insurance scheme for all residents irrespective of nationality. The card is acceptable for use in bank transactions because it contains a picture of the bearer and his/her date of birth. So one could ascertain age and positive identification. The problem for using that for registering to vote is that it does not indicate nationality unlike the driver's license and passport. So it is upon that basis it was challenged and the SC upheld the challenge and ruled that it does prove nationality so it is invalid as a document to use for voters registration.
Attafuah as a Dean of Law should not let his political lens prevent him from correct interpretation of legal issues no matter its bearing on the political divide. It is therefore incorrect for him to be quoted as saying NHIS has been abused by foreigners to access free health and thus the rejection of the card!

What is the difference between what you are saying and what the Dean said? Both assertions imply that the NHIS card is not a prove of citizenship and that it is unacceptable for registration. Don't try to be smart ass, mr.

Nobody's right is abused by the SC's order, it is only the law that only Ghanaians citizens have the right to vote. No Ghanaian is being denied with the SC's rule. The 76,000 Togolese who are making our voters register bloated will have to prove they are Ghanaians before they will be permitted to vote in Ghana.

Are they going to us Bawumia's bogus and unverified list(even Bawumia Himself failed to prove its validity)to identify the 76,000 so-called Togolese?

SC is at flaw for saying people who use NHIS cards to register as voters should have their names deleted from the voter register. Why because at the time of registration there wasn't any law that persons with NHIS card are not illegible to regiater. Therefore if you pass a law today it should have not have effect on the past.

The law have always been there, the difference is the court case to interprate the law to find out whether that particular type of id is acceptable.
Courts don't make the law but parliament does

You have taken the trouble to read and yet you think the SC did not order the deletion of NHIS registrants? Well let me break it down for you: the SC held that the EC has a duty to compile a reasonably accurate and credible register. This duty has not been discharged reasonably in relation to the current register because there are unqualified voters in the form of dead people, minors and those whose eligibility has not been proven by the use of NHIS cards. The SC held that the plaintiff has proven the register is not accurate and credible by citing the NHIS registrants' continual presence post earlier ruling that their inclusion by qualification of cards was unconstitutional. The argument is settled, they need to come of lawfully and given the opportunity to re-register disenfranchisement problem solved the SC found.
