I personally have a problem with this story. If readers could critically analyse the entire story, they can confidently say Senanu had no evil plan. The story said he's an NDC sympathizer and also he has been taking the gun to work for sometime now. Who is naive to know that people especially those working in oil refineries such as TOR are a target for Kidnappers. He must have owned the gun for his personal protection. And I believe he must have had it registered.
However, the problem I have with him is that he should have known that he mustn't carry a gun on his person when the President is coming there.
That not withstanding I believe he forgot to keep it in his office if he knew the law.
I can conclude by saying the gun was in his person out of sheer forgetfulness.

John Mahama is luck to be walking free and alive on the streets of Ghana. John Mahama ain't seen nothing yet! He would have been dead, had it been any other country, where its citizens won't tolerate any lies and bullshit, knowing that things keep on falling apart for them.

After messing up Ghana's economy so bad that people are crying for help, Mahama thinks it's cool to run around trying to deceive people with his "imaginary" achievements. That wont's work! He's so self-conceited that he believes that telling lies to Ghanaians is a cool thing to do.

It is only a brainless person who think assassinating Mahama, Akuffo Addo or any of the presidential candidates is the antidote to Ghana 's ailing economy but what really matters here is the aftermath results when such an abomination happens even though I personally pray to God that such a calamity do not befall Ama Ghana especially when the our dear nation is going to the ballot box to choose a man or woman of their choice as their president.
Assassinations and other heinous crimes easily trigger civil wars and both you and me at least know what civil war entails.
It is always said that when two elephants clashes, it is the grass that pays the price.
It saddens me to hear people singing songs of praises for these disgruntled citizens of our country who thinks taking Mahama's life is the best solution for our country.
It is rather the worst solution for Ghana because bullets are no roses. We all remember what happened to Liberia, Sierra Leone, Ivory Coast and just to mention a few. Look at the plight of Syrians today and we still have some animals in Ghana who are always happy to hear assassination attempts on a sitting president. In any case who are you people who think your bodies are bullet proofs ? I am not a pessimist but should a civil war break out in Ghana today, it is you the fools who are first going to die but not Mahama and Akuffo Addo so put on your thinking caps. A word to a fool is never enough.

Why on earth would a known ndc supporter take a gun and kill the ndc president. The BNI should accord Ghanaians some degree of intelligence, and stop disseminating this type of Kwaku Ananse stories.
The only good thing about this was that, the BNI did not find it expedient to add any credibility to their Ananse story by naming the suspect as NPP supporter. Thank God!
I wonder if this institution has any relevance in our current dispensation. It has become more of a political organ that a state institution with a clear cut mandate.
