Yes, Nana Addo and his cohorts led four innocent people to their deaths, claiming that VAT at 12.5% was too much for Ghanaians to bear. In fact they were against changing the then tax system the VAT system. Ask what happened when they came to power? Not only did they embrace the VAT with fanfare, they unashamedly increase the rate to 15%, and later to 17.5%. The NPP and their surrogates are wolves in sheep's skin. Today they say that they will reduce taxes, reintroduced allowances for Teacher and Nurse trainees, and so may wonderful and mouthwatering promises. Do we have to believe these crooks who will do anything , promise anything and even strip naked just to win power? Just watch them in opposition and you can imagine their behavior in government with Nana as president: intolerance, intimidation, beatings, killings and impunity. GHANA has come far and we afford to go back 20 years. The NPP as presently constituted is s danger to our democracy, progress and unity as a country.

When the NPP came into power, unemployment was still rife, people were still hungry, agriculture was still untapped to its maximum potential, kufuor gallons as a result of lack of potable water was still rife, electricity dumsor was also rampant, so what happened to kumepreko, no change. Ghanaians are wise, leadership of NDC has changed and so we will vote for the change that is going on. Your article has justified why the change in NDC should be sustained to improve on agriculture, employment, potable water, electricity including rural electrification, security of the populace through the police visibility and the abundance of crops and agricultural products in urban areas through the construction of feeder roads. Your kumepreko and Alliance for change is irrelevant because you were given a mandate which did not make any meaningful change.
