Dr. Nduom has 41 companies.The GN Bank which represents one of these companies has 113 branches, only second to GCB.Assuming each of these Banks employs 15 people, he has cut the unemployment rate by 1,695. His Hotels, the radio station, the stone quarry and the rest are all feeding mounths of individuals and families in this country. So, I think he is the most influential Ghanaian. He deserves an award from the Government

The Founder of the Ashesi University, for one, clearly has influenced the lives of many folks and the Economy. The Media personalities whose contributions largely inform and educate the masses are also much widely influential.
Otabil, on the other hand, has only sought to criticize the incumbent government on certain issues and might have touched the hearts of his Congregation. Many Ghanaians see Otabil as only a proxy for Akufo-Addo's faction of the NPP among the Clergy. That limits his influence among Ghanaians.

And you asked what I've been smoking lately. I've been smoking the rejection of Akufo-Addo's insincere efforts to unify the NPP, and closeted bigotry. I hope you got that.
You only have to go back to sample the comments that many readers make on Otabil's pronouncements that have larger Political reverberations.
Many believe he is a staunch pro-Akufo-Addo faction of the NPP in disguise. And that is because of how he frames his criticisms of the incumbent Administration.
We all criticize the Administration on many issues. But we must admit that we could do so without sounding partisan, or not.
Sometimes, the reaction of the NDC members or sympathizers draws a neutral critic of the Government's action into the partisan fray. That goes the other way, too. Some supporters of Akufo-Addo's do the same. They, in fact, more often resort to personal insults when one offers a genuine criticism of the NPP Flagbearer's faction of the Party.
In this case, if you sense something is really wrong, you sure are right. And it is all about how Akufo-Addo and his minions have been ripping the NPP apart, and have been playing the Christian card against all others. They have forgotten that Akufo-Addo's visit to the Wailing Wall in Jerusalem did not save him from defeat the last time.
Separation of Churches from Politics is what our Democracy instructs us all to uphold. But we conveniently blend the two and shamelessly solicit for the Clergy to get on our side when dealing with political issues.
