Mahama found it convenient to order the posting of trainee nurses from his native Gonja tribe to newly constructed health posts dotted across his native Gonjaland whilst neglecting those from other parts of Ghana. He even sidelined the Lobis(Brefos) within the same region and Gonja districts. All these Mahama is doing to carve out a separate region from the present Northern Region for Gonjas. With this wicked agenda by Mahama, how can Ghana develop under his presidency.
Go and see how Prez Mahama of Ghana has transformed Gonjaland with Ghana money just within the two and half years that he has been in power. Every town, village and hamlet in Gonjaland has received a facelift with new facilities such as roads, toilet facilities, markets, mosques, good quality water projects, electricity extension projects, etc. The question is did J. J. Rawlings do the same thing to Voltarians when he was in power for twenty years? What about Atta Mills. The good old Prof was in power for three and a half years yet he was not selfish to only concentrate on his people in Ekumfi Etuam and the central Region but rather his whole thought was for the general good. No wonder under the care of Prez Mills, Ghana achieved a growth rate of 11%, single digit inflation and the smooth implementation of the Single Spine Pay Policy where newly recruited police personnel received the nominal equivalence of 500dollars as monthly salary. Compare these achievements to the nepotism and selfish policies of the Mahama government that has crippled the Ghanaian economy. I really weep for Ewes and Fantis whose votes brought Mahama to power and yet are the hardest hit by the current hardship prevailing in the country.

It is instructive to note that the same Mr. Marfo was flown abroad for medical treatment at the expense of the tax payer.How is it that a farmer who was rich enough to pay for the renovation of the residence of the President needed the tax payer's money to seek medical treatment.

His wife who was a yam seller is now one of the richest people in Ghana owning fleet of tankers and real estate properties.

Mahama has a business partnership with Roger Agambire of RLG and that is the reason contracts from SADA tree planting, Guinea fowl rearing, supply of computers to schools and many other contracts running into hundreds of millions of dollars have been given to Agambire who failed to fulfil most of these contracts after he had been paid. Now Agambire lives in Dubai where Mahama and his family vacation.

State properties have been given to his brother, Ibrahim under his instructions that have been used on private contracts to benefit the Mahama family and this useless ATOPAHENE President has the audacity to poke fun at Ghanaians by telling us he is not corrupt.

Most of his 19 children are schooling in London and Dubai and how is he paying their hundreds of thousands dollars yearly under the two hundred thousand Ghana cedis Presidential salary less than $50,000?

By the way, most African leaders don't even understand what the word "bribe" means; to them a bribe is a personal gift to them. They don't understand that those gifts influence future decisions. His Excellency J.D.Mahama has confirmed that he has not solicited nor received bribe. Respect our President, unless we can even blame corruption in any Government Department on him. Uneasy lies the head the wears the Crown. I started processing my Land Title Application in 2004 whilst still in the United Kingdom. There is every indication that a Cartel has formed to attempt to steal my property and I have been getting spiritual threats. I have been there several times and have written to them several times. I even complained to the Ghana High Commission in UK. The threat comes to me that there is a cartel that may wish to get me embroiled in a lengthy and costly legal battle. As it is, I even believe my life and that of my family are at stake. Can corruption and bribery be stamped out? Let us talk about specific cases of corruption instead of generalization which has little force. Even a fraudulent Electric meter has been fitted on my building which I am getting information has some wicked agenda. Is anyone having similar problems?

There was near pandemonium and confusion at the Annual Global African Investment Forum held in Westminster, Central London after a heated exchange between Ghana’s President John Mahama and former Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo degenerated into open insults.This was due to General Obasanjo openly accusing the Ghanaian president and his government of blackmailing and collecting bribes from Nigerian businessmen in Ghana, buying numerous properties in Nigeria and South Africa and financially contributing 12 million dollars to Goodluck Jonathan’s campaign last year. This infuriated President Mahama who lost his temper and pointing his finger, called General Obasanjo an ” idiot” and a “silly buffoon”.It took other ministers present as well as Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni to calm tempers and usher President Mahama to a nearby room. The forum, which takes place from 1st to 3rd December is attended by African Heads of States, Ministers, Private equity firms and investors to discuss opportunities for investment and development in African Economies.
