This mathematics which can even be done by a BECE candidate who cannot write his final exams without questions leaks, and could not be done by President Mahama nor Seth Terkper as they want us to believe, will reveal to us how deliberately corrupt and financially reckless they are as far as the management of our economy is concerned. The Eurobond attracts an interest of 10.75% to be paid by the government of Ghana, $250m out of it is illegally deposited in UBA, a private bank. The bank, which is UBA in turn, decides to buy GHS 950 million of government Treasury bills at a rate of 24% (using the 1-year note); the bank would have made a hefty GHS 233 (USD 61) million profit in nominal terms just by loaning this same money to the government. Friends in the media, if this is not a 419 scam visited on unsuspecting Ghanaians by President Mahama, then what else is it? – Meanwhile, this is a President who is walking freely on the streets of London shamelessly mocking Ghanaians that he has never taken bribe, my goodness!!! Note therefore, that Government is paying 10.75% 24% which is 34.75% interest on the money he borrowed from the capital market. Government is paying 24% interest on his own money to a private firm. Is this sheer wickedness, foolishness, witchcraft or what? We cannot help, but agree with Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings when she posited few days ago and I quote, “If you borrow money at a high interest rate to lend it to another at a low interest rate then borrow your own money back from them at a high interest rate, you are either not wise, a thief or both. No wonder their campaign message of “vote for us so they don’t jail us, it’s time to save Ghana from this criminality”. To Dr. Bawumia the fact that the presiding officer did not sum up the two figures meant the answer should be zero, which meant no one in that polling station used the verification machine to vote! What Dr. Bawumia did not know is that the whole world was listening to him, including all the International Banking Institutions. Martin Amidu´s credibility would have been greatly enhanced if he has been fair.He was only interested in NDC functionaries while leaving NPP big thiefs off the hook.Some of these big thiefs include,all formmer ministers:Trade Dr Apraku,health Dr Anane,information Asamoah Boateng,tourism late Jake Obetsebe Lamptey,Defense,Addo Kufour,finance and economic planning Sarfo Marfo,foreign affairs Nana Addo the akyem dwarf to mentioned but few.

Do you see the foolery we have in our Ghanaian politics? If a person is qualified but belongs to the opposition or not affiliated to the ruling party, that person will never be given a position to serve the country. We then use tribalism, nepotism and "partyism." So, we have square pegs in round holes. In any developed democracy, they look beyond party first and appoint people from other parties in giving give appointments.
I don't care about NDC and NPP. I have never attended any meeting with any of them. None of them feeds me. Don't you see there are some Mahama appointees who do not merit those position. I want a government where qualified, tested and experienced people are put at right places and not some babies with sharp teeth who only sing praise hymns to the president.

The question is does the govt borrow from the domestic financial market before this saga?.The answer is yes and for the records NPP govt borrowed 445m Million USA Dollars from Ghana commecial bank under gyimi Kufour,a Situation that brought the bank to it´s kness until NDC paid the debt off through which Tema oil refinery(TOR) came to live.We Need to stress that,NPP govt collapsed two Major state institions,the TOR and Commercial bank of Ghana through such borrowing.IT also means that Chains rule of Multiplier effect seizes to apply as far as These two state instituions are concern,ie the TOR and Commercial Bank together with their workers would no longer pay taxes to the govt as they should.With These two examples in mind,we then turn on to the marble on the table before us.

Per Bawumia week comprehension,this $250m should have been left ideal in the BOG books while the govt still goes to domestic financial market to borrow.At the end of financial year,everything Bawumia pointed out would have been the same except the gains made by Mahama govt and the aggresive Investment drive being undertaking by the private bank leading to higher tax Returns to the govt in line with Chain Rules of Multiplier effect.So,on the score sheet,the govt has once again scored more Points than Bawumia´s NPP since there is no reason to believe that had this Money be left with BOG,govt would not go to domestic financial market.

How do you go and borrow money for 10.75% (US dollar) and give it to someone to lend it to you at over 20% (GHC)? In effect you are paying over 30%! Assuming stable exchange rates, Ghana will be paying additional interest of at least $50 million a year on this transaction. It really is reckless. The government is claiming that the funds were “idle”. Really? What does that mean? Why do you borrow funds and pay interest on it if you do not have use for them at the moment? It is clear that the GIIF does not have a portfolio of projects ready to invest in and it is weird to allocate a whopping sum of $250 million to them at this time. Is the Minister aware that the country owes N-Gas some $100 million? What about other contractors who are owed money by the government? How can you owe so much, have so much to do and yet claim to have “idle” borrowed funds? The allocation of such an amount to a private bank also has major macroeconomic consequences for a relatively small economy like Ghana. It increases the deposits of the banking system and ultimately the money supply. It has inflationary and exchange rate depreciation consequences and would make it more difficult for the government to meet its inflation target. I am surprised that the government is oblivious of these consequences. The Funds should stay at the Bank of Ghana. After all the Bank of Ghana, on its own or through its external fund managers of the caliber of internationally reputable banks like UBS, JP Morgan, Citibank, Merrill Lynch etc. can undertake whatever investment of the country’s foreign exchange that the government would like it to undertake

2. Bcos of mismanagement by the Mahama led administration, we have to run to IMF for help. And they told Mahama to increase electricity bills which he did. So if u are using electricity for ur business, how can u pay? We're using all our salary to pay for light bills. So if we get a prez lyk Akuffo Addo, he won't b paying unnecessary judgement debt which will make light bills to come down cos we won't run to IMF for help.

If his party does not win the election and he fails to become the vice President, he may have a difficult time getting a job with any bank, because which bank should employ Bawumia so that at the slightest opportunity, he’ll put their figures out there and be divulging their secrets.

Adu Asare, cry your own cry: Bawumia is ALWAYS whisked away by WORLD BANK as soon as every election. What would you, Adu Asare, do if your corrupt president is KICKED out of the Jubilee House? Would you follow him to Gonja as his house boy? At the moment what expertise do you have to qualify you as so called PRESIDENTIAL STAFFER? How on earth could GES recruit people who never read education, has no methodology in teaching and leave those with the skill at home. How do we want to train our young ones and what do we want them to become.? Putting square pegs into round holes, the deliberate version. Then what is the essence of reading education in a particular discipline? And why should the government consciously train teachers?
