If you believe Mahama and his government are not corrupt, then this is a very fine opportunity or platform for him to show the whole world his accountability and exonerate himself. They need to be approachable, humble
not arrogant. The arrogance is defencive mechanism as they seek to put themselves above the laws. They 'raise' themselves thereby 'put you down' to a lower level so that they do not have to account to you. They are just like you and me, so why do we have to be grateful for work we hired them to perform?

She has no effing right to summon anyone at all. She can't crate a private organisation and make it seem like, it is a constitutional mandated organisation that has been empowered by Parliament to undertake debates during every election cycle.

She must show appreciation and respect to the various political parties and also accommodate their divergent agenda to enable her organisation be considered reasonable and fair to even undertake such a project. She cannot force herself on anyone and I for one think NPP and NDC especially should boycott her debate platform and rather do it with the NCCE instead. She has lost credibility for underestimating the response she was going to receive from the NDC and the smaller parties who, by the way are supposed to be treated equally as well.

This is the same IEA that claims to be an organization that fosters democracy, yet demonstrates dictatorial arrogance and undemocratic principles when it aims to exclude other political parties from the debates.
