Government went for a loan of 40 million dollars to procure 200 buses. So far they have done 116. You must find out why the remaining buses have not come in yet.” When the host of The Big Issue, Umaru Sanda Amadu probed further, the MP said he can provide the parliamentary report on his claims. “If you go on and begin to interrogate those buses, you will find out that the branding is chicken feed. I am saying that go and find out how come $40 million imports 200 buses, if work out the difference, [it will mean that] one Chinese bus comes up to a cost of 200,000 dollars. I think it is ridiculous,” he added.

Running a nation is different from taking tithes and offerings from church members for the purpose of setting up businesses and become the boss. Otabil amassed wealth through tithes and offering which are meant for charitable purposes but decided to set a Universiy to become the Chancellor. My questions is, did he tell the church members that what he will be using their hard-earned cash for? A true Man of God, will only focus on the gospel not setting up businesses and play party politics. No wonder he is on the board of some companies.

Well, the politicians are also watching and reading if it is worth reading. Most of us know what we know already. When I read Pastor Otabil's message, I understood instantly his message and definitely they also understood it. It was meant to be understood. Kenkey is GhC1 and Gari 'olonka' is GhC7. Transport within fair distances around GhC2 mark, i.e. not yet U.S $1. Basically you can not travel anywhere from your house in US for $1. H.E President J.D Mahama is the man for Ghana. I would have believed genuinely Hon. Alban Bagbin will follow next is my prediction.

If those complains should have come from an odinary Ghanaian, or lets say if Otabil should have commended the NDC for making life beautiful for Ghanaians what would have been the reaction of Koku fat , rotten teeth Anyidoho?

Because Otabil can influence public opinion his preachings are being marked as propaganda. Anyidoho put on more fat because nothing can stop Otabil from telling the truth.

This led to many orders being canceled and a loss of customers. The insurance company was not going to cover the damage. This guy was in real trouble. He could lose everything.

Well, the guy decided to see his minister. He said to the minister, "I need help! My warehouse burnt to the ground, my product is all gone, my customers are leaving, and I am losing everything!"

The minister told him, "You can find all the answers to your problems in the Bible."

The guy asked, "Where should I start?"

I watched an interesting Movie years ago and the ace Actor, Jack Palance has got the attention of his listener ready to figure out THE ONE THING THAT CAN MAKE HIM A VERY HAPPY PERSON FOR LIFE. His answer was YOU HAVE TO FIGURE IT OUT YOURSELF. The West and the world say Ghana is a beacon of hope to the rest of Africa. In the driving seat is an able and well focused President. During the era of J.J. Rawlings, the massive road networks made it possible for foreigners and I mean in this regard

I use to say if men of God will make the banana seller come to Church without donations expected of them, the morality of Ghana will move upwards perhaps. We cannot deceive ourselves, the Pastor always has a message and trust me Koku was on point. What do you do with INFORMATION? WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THE INFORMATION? This is Pastor Otabil. Gifted for our time, please do not waste it. Unless he can justify 30,000,000 U.S.A dollars cash injection in the equipping and re-equipping of a house which has already been built. Yes Otabil is a citizen of Ghana and a coporate citizen who pays tax and therefore has a right to question and speak on national issues truthfully. The question to ask, is the living conditions in Ghana better or hard? Is the government being truthful and sincere with the people. Why is it that when respected people who have achieved articulate their views on national issues, latter day politician who have nothing to show just open their mouth and spew out anything to insult and malign the integrity of the likes of Otabil who has affected the lives of millions of Ghanaians positively. Otabil is milking both his church members and the parents of the students at his university dry, does not pay any taxes on his collections in the church, and I even wonder if he pays any taxes on his receipts from his university, and then turns around to complain that times are tough. What is he doing to ameliorate the bad economic situation that he preaches about? Has he for once asked his poor congregants to come help themselves to one collection one Sunday? Does he give rebates to his students on the exorbitant fees that he charges? When you realize a situation needs changing, let that change begin with you. It is only then that people will take you serious and listen to you. Until then, you are just a propagandist and an opportunist.

I went to one of his year end service at the Accra Stadium, and also to his church and I swore I would not go anywhere near that man again. After the service at the stadium, there were armed guards guarding the collections that night to a safe place. At the church, those who are on the low end of society were shepherded to the back of the church while some sat outside and watched his sermon from a TV screen, while those with money, power and influence were shepherded to the front of the church.

Otabil is all about making money and milking the poor dry. He is a phony of a pastor.

We gave the elderly their rightful place in society and there was a real sense of representation of who our families were.
The likes of this rebuttal spells nothing but a situation where one is desperate and needs not be touched because he is right, deserve, and he is the overall and nobody dares challenge and refute what is not right by their rights of judgement.
