All this will not be possible if he was a corrupt and incompetent leader. Under the NPP, Kufour did not build a single Senior High School during his 8 years, Mahama has built more than 5 and still counting within 3 years

Within 3 years is has built the Kpong water supply expansion project which will produce 40 million gallons of water to satisfy the needs of Ghanaians. The NHIS has been expanded to cover more sickness and more people

In 2013, subsidies on 166,807 metric tonnes were given to farmers as against 43,176 metric tonnes in 2008. This has moved fertilizer coverage from 8kg per hectare in 2008 to 12kg per hectare as of 2013. This year, Government is subsidizing 180,000 metric tonnes of fertilizer and also distributing a variety of certified seeds.
