  She is NOT right in her assertions. It is very easy for any Ghanaian to identify a Nigerian unless you're an idiot. Their accent is so overwhelming you can never miss it. Spaaking 30 seconds with a Nigerian confirms this.

  On the other hand, the fact that a person's name is not in the Embassy dbase doesn't mean he can't be a Nigerian. Wherever I have lived in this world, I refused to get registered at the Embassy. This is because the Ghana Embassy abroad is very clueless in dealing with Ghanaians. They wouldn't help you with the least thing. In event the registration becomes useless. Nigerians behave like that too.
