In the late 90s, When NDC was in power and sensing massive failure, NDC told Ghanaians that there is no way an Ashanti will be the president of Ghana yet J.A. Kufuor, a high breed Ashanti became the president of Ghana for 8years. Again the NDC made Ghanaians to believe that when NPP comes to power they will chase all Northerners to Togo yet again NPP was in power for 8year and no single Northerner was chased to Togo. Today, the NDC has started the unfounded lies again by saying Nana can never be president and that when NPP comes to power they will give the people of Volta Region poison and acid to drink. These are all NDC lies from the pit of hell.

Sarpong has his problems but I believe sometimes we should take emotions out of a problem and tackle it in an objective way. Politicians all over the world are corrupt. In the 80s a very senior bristish minister was jailed for corruption and during his trial it was alleged he had links with the Mexican drugs cartel as well as pimping for the elite. None of this was proven and no charges were brought for those particular crimes.
My point is knowledge of a crime is one thing but being able to provide evidence is another. For instance that woman who was arrested at Heathrow was said to have links to a lot of political heavy weights. Her links to them can actually be proved but that's not evidence that they are also involved in drugs.
Wee is being treated exactly the same way alcohol was treated in the states decades ago. What the prohibition did was put money in the hands of the mafia and corrupt politicians. Keeping wee illegal only makes criminals (including the criminal politicians) rich and it's very refreshing that a NACOB boss of all people is the one who can see clearly and not blinded by what he knows people expect him to say.
