Is Tekper patriotic at all? Indeed, we have vagabonds in power. Mahama and the NDC are ready to sell Ghana to foreigners for their own gain. UBA was born out of patriotism. UBA used to be a British owned bank but the Federal Government of Nigeria nationalised it to become a fully owned bank of Nigeria because of patriotism. Tekper should have also been driven by patriotism to hand this juicy investment to Ghana Government owned banks, especially,when the motive is to invest in a Ghana Government treasury bills. In legal form, UBA is registered in Ghana but the substance of the Matter is that any profit made will be repatriated to Nigeria with lightening speed and Ghana will be back to square one notwithstanding the inflationary and exchange rate implications that will follow suit.
May God help mother Ghana.

According to our statutes, the money in foreign exchange SHOULD be in the custody of the BANK OF GHANA, and that's where the money should have stayed according to our law, until you prove to me that there's a counter law to do otherwise, you are NOT making sense.

The one thing you have to understand is that, there are good a REASON WHY behind every law: This one was meant to PROTECT the money from being misused by any public official.

The government did not borrow the money to TRADE with it, but for projects, so taking it from where it sits to lend it to a third party (UBA), and that party in turn lending it back to the original owner (GHANA GOVT)in a form of Treasury Bill is tantamount to ROBBING, the govt by lending it her own money, like it or not. To put it in simple form, it's like someone borrowing your own money and turning around lending it to you. How does that sound like you have to DEFEND this, Abu Boah?

Let's STOP following parties like we do to Abusua or clan. Let's start to put the INTEREST of our country first, and stop supporting parties we belong to even when they are CLEARLY wrong and most cases CORRUPT.

Abu Dhabi tell me how many Gas station and guest houses has ministers of the current government has? This doe not mean that NPP was clean either. They were stealing but the citizens felt that there was chance for them to make life better.
I was in my hometown recently and saw a building very beautiful when i ask who owns it i was told it was for Kwabena Duffuor the past Finance minister. I was shocked to my bones.
My point here is that politician and military rulers are all corrupt in Ghana. Rawlings who most think is a saint is not out the the corruption and so is Mr. John Kofi Agyekum Kufuor.

I will refer you to the simple message carried by our NATIONAL ANTHEM concerning "freedom and justice" and "resisting oppressor's rule". Be REMINDED that these are applicable notwithstanding CONSTITUTIONAL DEMOCRACY or not, unless you erroneously assume that ALL democracies should be deemed to be NOT corrupt and therefore justifiable.

NDC has already proven it's corrupt and incompetent, it has NOTHING better to prove. Now it's time the citizens who gave them the mandate take it away from them.

Batidam should walk into any High Court around the country today, somebody is being sent to jail for stealing a tuber of yam or a fowl.
We are insisting if John Dramani Mahama is not corrupt and has not benefited from the numerous stealing expeditions commissioned in his govt, which earned him the very unenviable and reckless position on the corruption index as the 2nd most corrupt and one of the worst in Africa, he should cause the AG to prosecute and jail his gang of thieves and looters.
I can say without any qualms at all the world will witness snowflakes in Hell, than expect to see John Mahama lead in the prosecution of his gang of looters in this country as has been expressed rather clearly and succinctly by Daniel Batidam, because should he dare, like somebody said, he will runaway from this country.
He must have his handing over notes ready and complete by now as it is the expectation of Ghanaians.

We all do it, when giving opportunity. Even, some legitimate career or businesses practice corruption in legal frame. However, biblically, they are in corruption. Especially sales or marketing careers, where you come between two financial transactions to make a cut or commission. If the bargainer is ignorant or foolish, you squeeze advantage. For instance vehicle sales, houses or real estate negotiation.
Which means corruption can be categorised into classes to defraud of cheat to gain to oneself. It is all over the globe.
The worse of it is when the loot is deposit into foreign banks, it hurt the origin nation much more. If the loot is still in the origin country, atleast, it circulate in the country to better individual to the general public.

Lets Ghanaian know that America. Uk. Germany. France was not build in a day. It took them many many years with struggle and sometimes unemployment of youth before getting to the stage/state that they are now and many ghananese are trooping there for greener pasture. As said blackman always want their govt to put fiscal cash into their pocket before they know that the govt is doing well. Instead of considering that before ghana can move foward its needs foreign investment and without the massive infrastrature development like. Good roads. Super security network by its police and Army and other apparatus. Which. Is taking place by the current govt no foreigner will come to leave their hard earn foreign exchange for some lazy ghanaian to trade with whilst they are at work eating hea e fufu and bantu with ted soup during lunch time and the go back to the ofgi e or job place to doze without no meaningful accounts ility of their days work by the workers and not even feelibg guilty of their actions.
