When Awuni who died recently wanted to bring crime under control at Koforidua, guns were given to the squad, their cell phones taken from them. The police even did not know where they were going. He sat in the front seat of the bus and took them to central mosque area which had become a place for robbery and all kinds of vices. Many were arrested and Koforidua became peaceful again.
