In retrospect MPs should not be in parliament because they are not in anyway representing the poor constituents who vote them in power besides serving their selfish narrow interest.MPs are the most corrupt and insensitive group of people who are letting the poor tax payers down.MPs are significantly part of the reason why corruption is endemic in this country.To say Ghana is a Banana Republic is an understatement but it mainly has to do with a weak and defunct parliament that cannot hold the executive in check.It has do with a useless parliament full of hot headed MPs who cannot enforce essential laws that will protect public purse and interest.Our MPs are content with 3 things;sleeping,routine and automatic response of 'yeh,yeh'and the business of corruption and illegality in Ghana's so-called august house to enrich themselves.
