As a senior statesman, why should he wait until his time comes? Cant you see that everybody in Ghana, including Kofi Adams also saying that they are all suffering? Can't you see that everything now depends on water, gas and electricity? So, if rates go up arbitrarily and unreasonably, it affects every sector of the economy. This leads to labor unrest and that makes the government unpopular and even government overthrow. Do you pay electricity bills for yourself or family in Ghana, you would see how it pinches.
From the start, I had great confidence in Mahama but he disappointed me with his economic policies. I can say he is very affable and respects very much but that is not all it takes to be president. He needs to listen to listen the cries of Ghanaians about the hardships and the high unemployment rate of Ghanaians and do something about them now.

Many self employed people cannot function because utilities costs have gone too high and are also not reliable. We need not look at this from any political lenses because it affects all Ghanaians, even those in diaspora. When companies cannot bear the costs, they fold up and go away to neighboring countries raising high the banner of the unemployed. The current unemployed youth who have even graduated from college knows no party. Mahama needs to sit up and check corruption. If he was a great politician, some big guys at the hem of affairs at ECG should have been shown the exit if they are really responsible for the power rate hikes and Dumsor.

Socioeconomic development activity has gradually ground to a screeching halt, and Ghana is in a stifling state of retrogression and stagnation.
Under John Dramani Mahama, Ghana has effectively collapsed. For the first time ever in the history of this country, rental accommodation is much cheaper than the cost of electricity over a month's period, for the average Ghanaian not syndicated to the looting and thieving special brigade led by the Mahama-led NDC gov't.
Indeed, Ghana is at a crossroads and enough is enough. John Mahama cannot lead this country and must go.

I was not surprised that the Hawks within NDC torn you into pieces ready to devour you until Kwasi Pratt who is one of those stomach politicians in Ghana and who have helped propagate Mahama's administration complained about it calling is "Usain Bolt bill". Now they have realized that it is not only the NDC who lives in this country.
