Now every gallon of patrol has ghc7 on it as tax. Anytime u buy anything from a shop, Mahama charges huge NHIS levy and 17% VAT on it. Where's the oil money? Kuffour borrowed Ghc9 million in 8 yrs. Mahama with oil money has borrowed Ghc 99 million in jux 7 yrs. Mahama said he will build 200 SHS in 4 yrs. He has now built 7.

That is what they are doing. But the truth is that ecg is forced into this situation because govt owes it abt GHs600,000,000 and is not paying. And this govt intends to privatise ecg, a condition in the imf bail out and the release of funds by the Millenium Challenge Authority. This is forced on Ghanaians by mahama through the mismanagement of the economy, the oil money and the over GHs100billion he had borrowed. Give this prez all the money of Japan or the USA and will still fail in a small country like Ghana with a population of 26 million people. You see how incompetent your govt is?

Ghanaians need to learn how to switch off.
We are complaining about the bills but leave all appliances switched on and Go to bed.
We are complaining that electricity is very expensive. Compared to what?
Ghana is enjoying one of the cheapest tariffs for a continuous supply of electricity without dumsor in Africa.
If you can't pay, switch off the air condition or open the windows. Get solar powered fans.
Cook with charcoal.
Switch the lights off when you are sleeping. Switch the tv off when you are not using it.
Ghanaians must be more disciplined in how they use energy.
