Politics is a dirty game they say but for anybody to state that Nana Akufo Addo Danquah or NPP has no message is laughable and stupidity to the highest degree.

The opposition NPP can go to court if they lose the 2016 elections to have the supreme court nullify the elections which were conducted on the basis of an illegal voters register. CI 91 does not fully address the issue of foreigners voting in Ghana because foreigners can acquire drivers licences and an existing voter identification card could have been issued based on an NHIS card. Until ght govt issues every Ghanaian with a citizenship ID card, these thorny voter issues will remain with us. Under the current CI 91, the onus is on the accuser to prove that an accused fraudulent voter used an illegal NHIS card to appear on the voters list.NOT EVEN THE EC IS EMPOWERED TO CHALLENGE AND DELETE A NAME WITHOUT GOING TO COURT.Abu Ramadan has only been partially vindicated by the SC decision because his original plea was to have the voters list declared void and that is not what the SC ordered. The SC ordered a deletion of names.

No law is needed to undo a wrong. To begin with, the constitution is supreme. Any law contrary to the constitution is null and void. The constitution says to register, you must demonstrate that you are a Ghanaian. The NHIS cards do not show you are a ghanaian. That is why the CI 72 that allowed the use of NHIS cards is null and void. As a result, if an individual got their name on the register on the basis of the NHIS card, same cannot be said to have complied with the constitution and therefore null and void. The SC's pronouncement is LAW in and of itself. So those fake names you the NDC and EC sneaked onto the register in 2012 will all come out and with NPP's vigilance, you will not be allowed to put them back on.

Wow!! This is a great piece of news to me because I will also file to declare the whole 2012 election unconstitutional to allow president Manama to restart his tenure. If the supreme court indeed says the names should be removed, then the election of president Manama was unconstitutional because this same cards were used to declare him president. This means that president Mahama can begin his term afresh and go for another 8 year term and we will see who will suffer. They think they are so wise than all of us.

It may even happen that the one who took the matter to the Suprement court may be affected more looking at the party that is he is working for. so let's close this matter and move on.

EC says they can identify them. What is your problem? Just obey the SC ORDER. Remove the 4million plus NHIS card holders and notify each of them and offer them a chance to come and register again

DELETE & CLEAN are they the SAME? dear EC, why not put up notices asking all those who used the CARD to go & register in their ward within a certain period to clean the register. Of course put the judiciary at polling stations to help those who failed to re-register. of course the judges will hear cases if NDC or NPP goes to court to challenge results bcos they know 10000 voters who voted having used NHIS to register( who happen to be their people) Judges must not be isolated, I dare say, Judge Dotse
