Late Professor Mills before 2008 elections promised Ghanaians a 'drastic reduction' in fuel prices, only to slap on innocent Ghanaians the harshest increment in those bills ever at the time. And NOW electricty bills bills is the most topical issue, with the President calling for emergency cabinet meeting on the matter, I hear.

NPP in that elections promised to cut down on the number of ministers but JAK increased the figure by 20%; when asked, he said in opposition he underestimated the magnitude of the task of governance, and he apologized. Kuffuor promised zero tolerance of corruption in opposition, in power he said corruption started with Adam. Look we've been there before with NPP so Nana tell that to the Marines!

John Mahama promised to end dum-sor saying that he's going to shame the NPP. But now it's clear that his so-called solution to Ghana's power crisis was just a joke! The situation is so bad that they have planned to sell off ECG to an American investor. But the potential buyer won't accept carrying over debts of the ECG, so Mahama and his corrupt NDC govt has decided to increase power bills to help generate enough money to shore up their dubious sale offer. This deal was revealed by Joy-FM last year. But things went quiet so many people just can't understand what is going on. Bringing in floating power badges to solve our power problems wasn't a smart move. The cost alone could have built a mini hydro dam, on a long term basis. I've always said that John Mahama and his corrupt NDC govt don't have any ideas. Mahama is very dumb! He should accept the fact and step down for Nana Akufo-Addo to come and rescue Ghanaians. Nana is a visionary man; he has what it takes to turn around Ghana's fortunes. He says he will reduce electricity bills; he means just that and the NDC better stop talking bullshit!
