Most Ghanaians will forever be liars and thieves; Nana Addo and Bawumia being the first culprits.
These businesses were cheating the system in the area of power with their cronies at the ECG but now have to face the real cost of power and they are crying. Some businesses only boast they are doing well simply because they do not pay realistic price for power. Individuals steal electricity by burying wires and cable in the earth and continuously paid nothing but are now crying.
Some ECG workers are burnt on destroying the John Mahama's government and are directly and indirectly sabotaging his efforts in the power industry just for political gains.
Had it not been 'Dumsor- may its soul rest in peace' and these high bills, Ghanaians never believed in saving electric power including businesses; some leaving their ACs on overnight even though they are at home sleeping and the ACs are not cooling any equipment.
They are lucky they have a listening president, else to me they should face it!

Cost of power will be so high over the 5 years contract. Then the KARPOWER EMERGENCY BARGES FOR 10 years - cost if purchased even using that $250 million in bank that was not used making 750 million over the 20 years as that is how much Ghana is throwing away with this deal, plus price of fuel to power is 34% higher than if government did the project themselves . Once the smoke screen of over billing has died down you will see big bills

It was on the social media that Mali, Burkina Faso and the Ivory Coast refused those meter but were accepted by Mahama and NDC just because of their pocket. So, my question is, what the meaning of this crisis meeting?

Govt must stop interfering with such issues and leave them to do their job and make necessary changes..we can demand better service if we are paying the right amount.
Change is hard, but necesary.

Hahahahaha ndc the shaking ruling party of the day ay3 ka oo ,it was election year (2008) where the crude oil price was droped in the world market from $100 to $45,then npp refused to subsidise the price thinking they were in power on their own,then Ghanaians (the masses)started complaining,but they didnt mind, then at the eve of the general election then an emergency meeting was held to address the then seriously approaching danger but it was late cos the very perception was already had its impact on them,though the fuel price was later reduced but they were voted out of gov't n it was masterminded by the then elements of opposition ndc who were also working as high profiled "tor "officials , so its a "pay back " time , so no need 4 a crisis meeting in the presidency as if they are listenening gov't,cos dark or blue exchange of gov't is required in a democracy at its best so Ghanaians need no reduction or adjustment in ecg tariff or whtsoever n as such ndc must fall n stay relegated politically so tht in opposition they can be reasoning n learning to govern a nation afresh as npp is abt to deliver to Ghanaians wht they hv learnt soo far in being opposition .
