Oh dear/ AMERI set up just to screw Ghana and give some corrupt government money for their pension . GE $250 million but does not like ghanas finances so METKA AGREED TO TAKE LIABILITY however contract actioned with AMERI and that crook of a sheik then they subcontracted to METKA for $350 million BUT CONTRACT CHARGES over $550 to Ghana plus costs of fuel in addition and who did base ground work Mahamas brother ....hiklarious . Cost of power will be so high over the 5 years contract. Then the KARPOWER EMERGENCY BARGES FOR 10 years - cost if purchased even using that $250 million in bank that was not used making 750 million over the 20 years as that is how much Ghana is throwing away with this deal, plus price of fuel to power is 34% higher than if government did the project themselves . Once the smoke screen of over billing has died down you will see big bills

How many of NPP'S policies and plans have they tried to steal only to fumble and made mess with due to their lack of knowhow. Why does this Anyidoho keep embarrassing himself with baseless utterances? Kufuor, a high breed Ashanti became the president of Ghana for 8years. Again the NDC made Ghanaians to believe that when NPP comes to power they will chase all Northerners to Togo yet again NPP was in power for 8year and no single Northerner was chased to Togo. Today, the NDC has started the unfounded lies again by saying Nana can never be president and that when NPP comes to power they will give the people of Volta Region poison and acid to drink. These are all NDC lies from the pit of hell.

I think it's fair to get rid of ECG.The NPP and K4 gave out Ghana Telecom now Vodafone to the British imperialist for absolutely nothing.They also distributed oil blocks in the western region to their families and friends.They got favours and kickbacks so going by that,I don't see anything wrong if the NDC also give ECG to their friends and families so that they can make money and remain relevant in Ghana'spolitics.Just like Rawlings gave the Nsewan canary to his wife now very vocal.If I am or were part of any political party I will surely ensure I secure the future of my self and family as others have done.

On the issue of John Mahama's Presidency suffocating ECG of funds it owes it, crippling it leading to its eventual stealing as happened in response merchant bank case, does Aboaye Gyedu know who the lawyer of John Mahama's Presidency who is leading in that kind of irresponsibility?
Well, it is the same Tony Litor who led in the process of stealing merchant bank who is also behind this ECG stealing expedition.
It is time the whole of Ghana hits the streets and makes it clear to the thieves this is one thievery which will not happen.
The time of endless talk must give way to action to demonstrate to this reckless looting thieves, enough is enough. They must be given a specific time line to defray it's debt to ECG so there will be power for the socioeconomic growth of this country, or they resign.

The nation has invested so much resources into ECG that the talk of government owing ECG is rather disingenuous. ECG is rendering an essential utility service hence government's inability wean itself completely from ECG.

President John Mahama had said on several platforms, including the floor of Parliament, that Ghanaians must now be ready to pay higher or realistic electricity tariffs to save the energy sector and went ahead to introduce the energy sector levy bill which the majority NDC in Parliament embraced and voted overwhelmingly for its passage, even when “Those in the minority strongly spoke against it and said it will put more burden on Ghanaians and so why are the NDC MPs now crying wolf?
