  It must be drummed into the dummy head of the IGP that he has no such power to block the social media. He must note that we are not in communist China or Russia and must know the limits of the police.

  It is not the police intent to block social media but rather John Mahama's intent after complaining about social media and stories he deems are uncharitable to his governance and leadership, which has been a stupendous failure.
  His intent however, has found expression in the Police service and John Kudalor for that matter.
  The only snag here is, John Mahama's intent and purpose to stifle media plurality and freedom of the press as pertains in North Korea, has no place in this country according to the Constitution and the law.
  That intent has no legs to stand on, and instead of John Mahama and the IGP's attempt to gag mass media and communication on any day, they should rather ensure they provide the kind of leadership where it they would not have to create the situation where they are left to compare Ghana to Uganda or surpass Kim Jong Un sitting in the Kumsusan Palace in North Korea, in presiding over such irresponsibility with a view to hold onto power he has lost.
