  What we need right now is a steadfast Culture of Patriotic Service to be rendered throughout the nation, serviced by disciplined, incorruptible, digitally savvy journalists who would lift high the flag of Ghana 24/7.
  
  We have got to come together to create a smart nation just like 21st. century Singaporeans who have made significant investments in the digital infrastructure.

  I have said this a thousand times for the last several years, and I know people read me, but afraid of the truth. The TWI language proliferation into every fabric of our society is the CAUSE, and these people are either blind or equally underdeveloped to tackle it squarely.
  
  The insults, the incessant arguments, the lack of intelligent vocabulary to address issues on TV and Radio is what Twi language epitomizes in Ghana today. We have subjected ourselves to peasantry, and allowed all the bush backward class to migrate into our capital and take over. Same class of people who have invaded our streets with hawking activities are the same class we hear on radio and see o TV. In Ghana we fucntion through mob justice and mentally. Anything bad, awful that you can get enough Ghaaians to defiantly participate in, becomes Culture and the Law. Taxi business, Trotro Business, pavement and street vendors are uncontrollable, because the enfroces themselves are from the same kith and kin!

  The ass kisses Ghana journalists, always writing articles just to please their pay masters. I don't know what they teach them in journalism 101, but I will recommend them to read the New York Times or the Washington Post.

  The current crop of journalists is weak due to the rapid proliferation of the media. The schools of journalism are also doing a not so good a job of training. When Elizabeth Ohene suggested that journalists should master in subjects as opposed to mere reporting she was vilified by the journalists of the various media. Nobody came to her defense; not even Audrey.
  Most of the journalists think screaming on radio and TV would do it. It is to the credit of "Newsfile" that it has evolved from shouting matches which characterized the program to informative discussions lately.
  The schools of journalism should ante the requirements to make the course post graduate. The media owners should better remunerate their workers. It should not take Jon Benjamin to end despicable "SOLI".
