  Boats plying on the Volta Lake must be equipped with life jackets and load to meet technically recommended loading capacity. These Navy people are interested in bribes and not those on board. This capsizing of boats are too random. In this day and time tree stumps cannot be left in the lake. Where are the sensible ones in Ghana. People think only of themselves, and the boat owner will still be overloading tomorrow.

  BOATS CARRYING HUMANS MUST BE DIFFERENT FROM BOATA CARRYING LUGGAGE. THIS WILL HELP REDUCE ACCIDENTS WHICH ARE MOSTLY DUE TO OVERLOADING. WE MUST ALSO ENSURE ALL BOATS ARE CHECKED BEFORE TAKE OFF.
