4. free business atmosphere.

No nation can develop without these. We have all these useless people among us who want a big man system that they can hijack for themselves and their family.

Ghanaians shine your eye and keep demanding a western style democracy. It is the only way for a human being to live.

USA, Germany, Italy, Spain, Japan, not even Britain with its monarch developed with Western styled democracy. How long ago was the black man considered a human being in America? And in recent times not even China, nor Singapore. Even Malaysia and Korea have their own versions of democracy not an exact replica of what is done in the USA.

You have to remember that for a system of government to be effective it must also take into account the cultural values and norms of the people into account. I wonder where you live but visit Ghana lately and witness the chaos there, Its the same situation in Kenya, Nigeria etc, pretty much Western styled democracy is not working in Africa. We are Africans and not white people, the fact that it works for the white man does not mean it will work for the African, the Chinese, nor the Arab man. Hope you get that you house negro.

Our own democracy must work in the realms of our society, we can borrow something's from their system but we cant establish an exact copy and expect positive results.

No nation is developed without strict enforcement of law and that is what we have to do. When Obama came to Ghana, what did he tell our leaders? He said that we do not need strong men but rather strong institutions and it is all about law, nothing but law.

There are some people in Ghana who are above law and what kind of country is that? Till we enforce the laws that we have in Ghana, nothing will work.

If it were about strongmen Wa-Naa Seidu family should have been Chief. Why can he say we need people with brains. After letting him 12 years as MP is now telling us he is a weak MP. We should thank him of is honesty, for NDC has failed all Ghanaians.

Mr Pelpuo,there is a proverb which states,and I quote,Honesty is the best policy.this wise saying covers a lot of space in our present Ghanaian system.People are appointed to man certain institutions to develop vital areas of our country, but they surpprisingly refuse to do the right things they were appointed for due to the fact that, when it is done faithfully and honestly they may not get extra income to do the big things they are expected they want achive,eg,I was in Ghana last year for a month holiday visit, but I was incredibly shocked to see young men and some ladies who were riding in big cars and putting up big big houses who belong to the middle income bracket and I asked a friend who honestly told me that,it is the strong people in society who can live big in this country,but if you feel it is too hot,you must migrate to somewhere else to earn a living.This shows the volume of dishonesty with its attendance of corruption which does not help a country like Ghana to develop for its citizenry.

So you do not need a strong man for a strong institution since a strong man will just attempt to undermine the institution.
