  These navy officials should not only be redeployed but fired from the military. They have soiled the reputation of the military. They even need to be put on trial. The navy is not above the law.

  Where were the Navy Officers deployed at various places along the Volta Lake to check overloading of boats before the incessant boat accidents leading to loss of precious human lives as as a result of overloading ? We are also aware that these officers are expected to check the use of unapproved fishing gear on the lake but that duty too is not being performed leading to over-fishing and collecting of fish fingerlings as a result of which catch on the Volta lake has dwindled drastically in recent years as well as the extinction of some species of fishes in the Volta.
  Are these Officers well resourced to carry out their mandate and if no, could the Government do the right thing to save lives and also help maintain food security in the country?

  THERE IS NO HOLE WITHIN THE BORDERS OF GHANA THAT THE ARMED FORCES HAS NO JURISDICTION NEITHER IS THERE ANY PERSON WHO CAN SELECT WHICH PERSONNEL HE WANTS AT A PLACE. STOP FOOLING YOURSELF.
