Rawlings is not ashame of what Ghana has become. Ghana has become segmented society. There is lack of social cohesiveness, and that is dangerous for our country. Rawlings Ewe men have become the darling thieves in Ghana. The people Rawlings killed in the name of his revolution, how many of them stole like Woyome has stolen?

Two Ewe healthcare personnel stole more than C800,000.00and an Ewe judge fined them C25,000.00 without even sending these thieves into jail. Those Ewe thievestook away C775,000.00 profit from their stealing.

This is what Rawlings has turned beautiful and peaceful Ghana into. Now, armed robbers are killing Ghanaians in their own homes. What has Rawlings achieved for Ghanaians that he disturb us with his useless annual wreath-laying for June 4?

Today is June 4th. Despite the excesses, I think the June 4th 1979 Revolution was necessary. Yes, it was. At some point in the life of a nation, someone must stand up and change the despotic course of history. Sadly, those who rose to free the poor and the oppressed later became oppressors themselves. They took "kalabule" to a whole new immeasurable height. They were like game keepers on June 4th, but as the revolution grayed, they became poachers. And the poor and helpless animals in Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah's animal kingdom were worse off than the vain hopes the revolution gave.

Today, the conditions which necessitated the June 4th uprising are still present with us. But we don't need the army. We need civilians with conscience, a few Ghanaians who will stand up for the suffering masses. We need people with integrity, citizens who will tell the hunter carrying an elephant and still struggling with the poor widow over a field mouse that enough is enough. We need a credible media, a media that will take the microphone from the mouth of the oppressor and give the oppressed a voice.

Ghana needs you and me. We must be willing to forfeit our comfort and luxury. We must be prepared to suffer. But in the end history will judge us well. Ghandi once said the best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of humanity.

The time is now. Ghana must work again. And the change makers are you and me.
