  Ghanaians are jokers and freeloaders, and that is why the country needs a smart (intelligent) benevolent dictator. Not the JJ Rawlings' type dictatorship, but a benevolent dictator with a conviction of purpose who will 1) dislodge the chiefs from controlling the land (the so-called ancestral lands). All land in Ghana belongs the the state, and because land is a factor of production (economics) - the economic engine of the state, land should be vested in the state.
  
  2) Law, order and good government must be prerogative of the state - no individual is greater than the state. Lee Kwan Yew (LKY) insisted on building strong institutions to control the lives of his people. Singaporean Police is the most battle-hardened in the world - firm and resolute as LKY. That is why Singapore is the cleanest city-state in the world.
  
  3) Pull Ghana out of WAEC and all of its affiliates. Ghana needs to a higher standard in education for the youth. Education in LKY's Singapore was a premium, envied and copied by the other Tigers in the region. Singaporeans are highly educated, and highly productive. That is why Singapore together with Hong Kong are the financial centres in the region.
  
  4) LKY set out to make Singapore and entrepot economy, where low taxes were used to lure world's multi-nationals to settle and operate in the country. It was also LKY's policy for every multi-national company operating in the country to find a Singaporean partner. As a result of this policy, many Singaporeans are CEOs of many multi-national companies operating in Singapore.
  
  Yes, indeed, Ghana needs a benevolent dictator, but we need a smart and intelligent benevolent dictator who knows what he is doing. Time will not allow me to show you how LKY transformed his marshy-land third world country to first world status in just 25 years (a quarter of a century). That is all it took for this great nationalist to do it for his country.
  
  Does the African have such conviction of purpose, insight, and intellect to replicate what LKY did for his country? The answer is: Yes, yes, yes!!! An African can do exactly what LKY did for his people - but he/she must be one hell of an African. Time will tell!
