Yo are a very foolish man for saying "take them back and they will over-thrown the Govt 5 days after passing out" . What shows we would do that ? how many times do we have to explain we never demonstrated or requested to be sent home but jst that the decision of the senior recruit who felt as a king in the mix of the rest of recruits has caused us all this.

PRESS RELEASE
FACTS THAT TELLS IT IS NEVER TRUE ALL OR SOME OF US(MAJORITY) DEMANDED TO BE SENT HOME AS IT WAS HEARD
It is never true the recruits that went to the square demanded to be sent home for the training is hard though we are not stressing that there was a no "demand that we should be sent home"

It is clear and well known in the training school that it was the Senior Recruit that came up with the decision "all the recruit says they will go home", but someone may ask can it be true that no recruit supported the senior's decision?. The answer is ; it could be possible but our question too is how many could be involved when we were all not told we were going to the square to tell our instructors "we will go home for the training is hard and we also been maltreated" at the time we were assembled to walk to the square?.

(1) Are we fairly treated by sacking all of us whilst the innocent recruits is about 96% and more?

(2) Was there any "CONDONATION" as Brigadier General Adeti stated "whereas not all the 501 could have been guilty of the offence , the attitude of those who might not been guilty have clearly gone to show that by extention of the Ghanaian attitude "we condone wrong doing"" when the recruits that didn't go to the square only "didn't" because they had took advantage of the light that had gone off and not that they knew what was going to happen on the square.

(3) Was it not only the Senior Recruit that said "the recruits says they will go home" on the square? YES
The Senior Recruit was(felt) like a king(arrogant in the mix of all the recruits) due to the power he was given though that is the normal routine( every Senior Recruit is given power over the rest of recruits) but it is clearly known that people come from different homes and hence with different characters. In our mix he did things he felt was right and that was final.
We could have explained all to proove our innocence but due to these two reasons we did not :
(a) We are not to point out any of our colleagues when they do something wrong at the training school , we all have to keep mute and face whatever consequences the fellow recruit would have faced alone.
(b) we did not know it could sent us home but probably an internal punishment.
(4) Why would recruits that truely demanded from their hearts to be sent home for training they(we) can not afford to do again because it is hard and also maltreated,ran off the square instantly when they(we) were asked "if you want to go home step out"?

(5) If right after the "if you want to go home step out" all the recruit that was present on the square apart from the Senior Recruit ran off the square to their respective dorms then how true is it that we demanded to be sent home ?

(6) Should the square that we were instructed to go by the Senior Recruit be called "MUTINY" OR "DEMONSTRATION" when
(a) 96% and more did not even know what was going to happen there ?
(b) there was : no shouts , nothing in hands buh a vulnerable walk as some recruits even slept off because they(we) were awakened ?

(7) Should it not be only the Senior Recruit that should suffer a DISMISSAL or anything more or less because He rebelled ?

(8) Are we all to suffer the crime that only a person or few people committed ?

(9) Is the noble GHANA ARMED FORCES even aware of all these details ?

We have petioned GAF , CHRAJ , Parliament , Ex President Rawlings and there have been no response , perhaps it is yet to come.
A day do not pass by without Grief , tears and sleepless night because we just can't forget our dismissal and the great immortal passion we have for the job to serve Mother Ghana.

Presently in Ghana a whole lot of JSS(or is it JHS?) and SHSs have "Cadet corps even ther they don't tolerate indiscipline, how much more at the real army barracks or training barracks?? There is no place for riff raffs in the army, JJ was lucky to have got away with his mutiny otherwise he would have ended up like those who killed Kotoka in their attempted coup shortly after the '66 coup! Recruits , you haven't even completed the basic 6 months training but have already started plans to disrupt the "peace" within the army. You thought army is just uniform, marchpast, weapons and shooting; the basis of all these is DISCIPLINE and this is what you stood and "fought" against.You had the chance but went about it irresponsibly! The army is telling you right in the face, "folks, at combat you have only ONE (1) SINGLE CHANCE - its hit or you'll be hit or SUCCEED OR FAIL , YOU REFUSED TO SUCCEED SO BYE BYE!
