The idea of choosing our Ministers out of Members of Parliament is stupid, brews corruption and makes MPs incorrigibly tokes of the President.

Besides, it is not fair for anyone to two positions simultaneously as a MP and Minister. At worst, if one is chosen to be a Minister from the Parliament, he or she ought to resign his or her Parliamentary seat for others to contest for it. The duty of serving a constituency must be assigned to a dedicated MP, while a Minister is supposed to serve the whole Nation.

The status quo could generate a concern about a Minister being exclusively bias for his or her constituency that he or she is still a MP for.

That dual responsibility must cease immediately. The Constitutional Review Committee must coerce the Parliament to abrogate that arrangement forthwith.
