  What is wrong with putting that empty space to good use? Is it only meant for collection of offertory and tithes? Why can't the children of the tithe payers benefit from what their hard earned money constructed?

  Joker, yes there is nothing wrong for pupils to study in a church building. But please try and understand the problem holistically. I hope you took pains to read the whole article. The school has no building structures, furniture, and for sure no teachers. Now ask yourself, has the district ever received District Assembly Common Fund? What percentage of that fund went into education? It is better we stop politicizing every issue and consider GHANA FIRST. These articles are written to expose the incompetency of our district administrators. President Mahama has nothing to do with this issue. District administrators lack vision, purpose and the will to improve the lot of their districts. They lack the know how to mobilize resources of their districts. They hide behind their incompetency and the President is blasted ans lambasted on every trivial issue.

  Most basic school in Ghana were established by churches (Presby Primary this, Roman Middle School that, Methodist There, etc., etc.,) and in most cases there have been times that for one reason or the other, classes are held in the church building.

  The point to make is simply that this school and its like badly need real classrooms that support teaching and learning situations. The Commissioner General is there for them, if it is profitable. The people there should learn how to wash hands to eat with the elderly.
