The onus lies on Sulley Ali Muntari and his advisers to seek redress in a Court of Appeal to reverse the adverse finding if he wants a return to the team. Although the right of appeal should have been exercised within three months after the Commission’s report, Muntari fortunately can fall on what we call “Special Leave to Appeal” to seek redress. Overturning the adverse finding that bans him from joining the team is the only way that can guarantee his return to the team even if the technical handlers agree to call him back because not even the President of the land can reverse any adverse finding after a white paper has been issued on a Commission of Inquiry’s findings.

They blatantly flaunt the findings of the commission. Does the rule of law not apply to them? This "funfool" respect is one of the major problems of our society. What exactly was Armah's role in Brazil on the tax payer's ticket? How many people will have known the rot in the Black Stars camp if some of the players had not acted. If people who threw bombs at innocent civilians were allowed to hold public offices, without going to court, Muntari should be allowed to play if better in form than others.

I think we should learn the lessons and move on as even a whole President ignored due process and flew millions of dollars on aplane in the C21st! During the proceedings of the committee of inquiry everything was out of place including the arrogance of the GFA President Kwasi Nyantakyi, weeping officials (crocodile tears) et al. I think we should put the whole drama behind us and move us even government is struggling with implementing findings of the commitee.

It is the govt which "established" and mandated this "commission" to probe what happened at the WC 2014 in Brazil among other matters! The findings and report was given to the govt, the govt. accepted some of the recommendations of the commission and rejected some also. It then gave out a white paper on the report and giving out its final recommendations! The GFA and its management committee also supporter-groups even the sports minister and ministry and Finanzministry and BOG were all subjects of this probe. Even Nyatekyi was even told to refund some monies he couldn't account for! There were groups and individuals found to have acted wrongly and even sanctioned and are still at post! The govt in the white paper ADVICED at that time, that Muntari should not be reinvited into the Black Stars so that the calm that has gradually returned be kept! BUT IN THE SAME BREATH , A COUPLE OF SECTIONS UNDER THE SAME PARAGRAGH, THE GOVT SAID MUNTARI KANN BE REINVITED AGAIN INTO THE BLACK STARS UNDER THE CONDITION THAT HE APOLOGISES UNRESERVEDLY TO ALL STAKEHOLDERS INVOLVED IN THE INCIDENCE!!!! Mr Egbert you are quoting a law which has got nothing to do with this "commission".
