  I always have the contention that recruiting people into Ghana army has political and ethnic influences. Dr Nyaho has confirmed my thinking. Why should one of the smallest tribes (Ewes) dominate the armed forces? This has been happening a long time ago since 1979. Colonel Damoah wanted every region to have a proportional representation of new recruits during Kuffour's administration but he was chased out of the army and dismissed by NDC gurus from Volta region. We are following how recruiting is done in the army nowadays. What are the ethnic compositions of the 501 soldiers who were dismissed ?
