Big Man yes the US UK Egypt several European and even African militaries have their own Banks. Armed Forces Bank and they serve the service men and civilian employees better because they tend to understand their needs and financial situation better. Traditional banks exploit them and do not provide tailored packages. The mode of implementation here is the problem but in principle it's a good practice globally. Ghana Armed Forces should have done a better job before an ounce this compulsion.

Second, if ordinary business men are struggling to establish and maintain their businesses , how will the army businesses perform differently? This is really not necessary. A professional warrior is not the same as a professional trader. The army buys a lot of different stuff from suppliers. If they find services do not meet their needs, they need to complain to the appropriate quarters and not turn into business men. As commander in chief , Mahama should say NO to them.

The result is going to be loss of freedom and the elevation of corruption to yet another higher level. What do you expect when you go to the academy hall of the Military Academy and Training school, you will find an officer sitting on a horse with an OR's rank which depicts how the officer is suppose to be ridding the OR's. Yet we don't have brave soldiers to stand to their right but all the OR's is how to spy on their colleagues to the officer for just peace keeping nomination or promotion on rank. Ghanaians must know they dont soldiers anymore but job seekers and they will only realise this if there is a test on the military by terrorist, they will remove their uniforms and turn to ordinary civilians. Brave soldiers are no more in Ghana. That is why I have resigned and move on with my life than stay in this corrupt institution where nobody has the country at heart but their pockets. The military is left unregulated for far too long, is about time the legislators trigger the legislative instruments (LI) to clip the wings of this autocratic leadership in the military after all is a public institution and not a private company. Fuck all the military officers. Fire burn them all with their pay masters who hide behind to benefit from all this. Soon we will come back and sis the military and correct some dogmatic way of doing things.. Like I said there is no more a single brave soldier again but job seekers.

This has been happening for too long a time to continue. Modern Gjana , go and see soldiers pushing down trees with their bare hands whilst escavators are parked at 48 and 49 engineer regiments. Former support service commander Brgdr. Gen. Musah wajah now southern command Commander has subjected basically all other ranks to animals and uses them like bulls. That is an example of one of the losts of inhuman treatment given to OR's by this so called big men. When you ask a harmless question at durba and this shameless and clueless RSM's go against you in support of this wicked officer's. It fits them all if they continue to treat them like that. Like I said I am a free man, I joined the service to serve my country not to serve an individual or a few peoples interest. One example of a big thieve in the military is Lt.Col. Nantogma. CO of Base supply depot. He is a big enemy of the state. All he does is still fuel and food and divert monies for food stuffs and share with his accomplices. Fire burn them all

My friend from another Unit was posted out just because officers stole fuel and he got shots of them stealing it and lied against and posted out because he wanted to stop the menace in the military at his own little way. Go to 37 military hospital and see whatbis happening there. The name should be change to civilians hospital not military hospital because the only drug available for soldiers wen they are sick is paracetamol. But the officers have a waiting room and wen they are checked they go and bring them their meds no matter the cost to the state but an OR's you have to go buy with your money or die. What mediocrity is this. Soon we shall come down to Ghana and sue this so called big men and give the court imperative evidence that will shock every single tax payer in Ghana what the military commanders has been doing with their money. Say no to armed forces savings and loands because officer will have preferential treatment as against OR's.

But bcos dey always want to intimidate us dey does inhuman things towards us but me few offrs want to try it & I let dem knw whr they belong & whr I belong for dey shdnt cross dat line.

And de reason I am keeping quite for now is I saw commission offr & noncommissioned offers living happily together without any intimidation.
It al bcos de current commissioned offrs were driving to de slaughter house lyk cattles ready to be slaughtered on deir knees begging for deir lyfs but it too late for dem bcos de sojjas took decision & nt ready to turn back.

Hmmm...what happened to their core duties and responsibilities.I think the banking job should be left to those in the finance sector whiles they focus on their core duties.I know of soldiers who travels and their monies were deducted to purchase items for them but it hasn't materialized and their monies has not been refunded back to them too.
I think the Armed Forces must be call to order in terms of finances, because the greed is becoming on becoming.
