Why do we need national carrier? Is it by force for a country to have an airline? There are so many countries in the world without the so called "national airline" If it is a must, we can give the name to a private company and collect money from the company by using the name "Ghana Airline or Airways." The almighty America has no National Airline.

We should have partnered British Airways long time ago. They are part and parcel of Ghana . They have been in Ghana for donkeys years and know us like the back of their hands. They, as Unilever, know our culture, our strengths weaknesses. It is no use bringing in a partner who will spend years learning about us.

We need also to take along term view so that we can lay the foundations of a business culture and an embedded management style as Unilever has done if the Airline is to flourish

We must say goodbye to the idea that only Ghanaians can run our businesses. That approach has not worked and it has cost us very dearly.
