In the first place, the President did not stop to see these floods either. He was only having joyride as he proudly said, this is a clear security risk he's put himself in. The bike in question is not the jungle type, this particular one is the prototype for motor ???? racing and pleasure use only. They're only used on conducive roads.... e.g. asphards and not on rough roads. Think of the Presidents safety first and stop this boot licking comments just to catch the eye of the President.

It is damn if you do, and damn if you don't. If the President were to visit the site of the devastation in a motorcade, Ghanaians will complain; if he did that in a tro-tro, Ghanaians would complain, and if he did nothing at all, they will still complain. People who complain too much are the same people who will complain to their wives that they gave them too little meat in the soup, when in actual fact, they did not even give out a dime toward the meal.

Ghanaians, please learn to appreciate your country and your leaders and see the good in peoples' deeds.

I know two top-notch electrical engineers at my job who never drove car to work; one rides bicycle and the other walks even in the winter. These folks can afford any car, but they ride bicycle and walk to work just to keep healthy. In Africa, a common supervisor has a designated driver. We have house boys, house maids, garden boys, errand boys, etc who do everything for us. We go to work late, after sitting down for several hours scheming to extort monies from ignorant, uninformed and the less privileged, get driven by our drivers to a spot to drink plenty bottles of fat-filled beer and liver damaging liquour, get home late and eat carbohydarte-rich and oily food late and sleep. As a result, we put on a lot of weight, and develop disease-resident pot bellies. When we become sick or rendered incapacitated by unhealthy lifestyle, we label old women in the family as withches who cause it. Until we revolutionize, rejuvenate our thinking, there is no hope. It does't matter where we live on this earth, educational attainment, family background, career etc don't matter. If you don't think effectively and don't develop emotional intelligence, you cannot lead any fulfilled life.
